Toyota presentó este lunes en Tokio un coche futurista que se parece a un ‘smartphone’ gigante, con lo que el fabricante de autos japonés intenta ejercer el liderazgo en la incorporación de las nuevas tecnologías a los vehículos. El prototipo experimental fue bautizado como ‘Fun-VII’ y se asemeja a una computadora personal que permite a los conductores conectarse con los distribuidores y con otras personas con un simple toque en un panel táctil ubicado en una de las puertas. Akio Toyoda, presidente de Toyota Motor Corporation, dijo: ”Pensamos que sería divertido crear un teléfono inteligente de cuatro ruedas. Esta idea dio lugar al nacimiento del ‘Fun-VII’”. Como si fuera una escena de una película de ciencia ficción, la presentación de Toyota mostró al ‘Fun-VII’ reconociendo y saludando a su conductor y realizando sus propios diagnósticos.
